311 Weekend!!!

OH MY GOSH!!!!  I went to Memphis on 3/10 to see 311 on 3/11!!!  It was us three girls driving up there and my roommate, Sarah, has a 311 decal on the back of her window.  Well, these three boys who were also driving to Memphis drove up next to us and held up a 311 cd case and drove off.  We caught up to them and held up a different 311 cd case and drove off.  They caught up to us and held up a nugget of weed, and needless to say we did the same exact thing.  It was the highlight of the 5 hour ride down there.

We get to the hotel we are staying at, low and behold, the boys who we saw on the ride down there were staying at the same hotel.  The whole hotel was full of 311 fans who just wanted to have fun.  That night we partied on Beale street with the boys.  We ate some excellent BBQ, drank ourselves silly and danced the night away.  It was the perfect way to start off the weekend.  We got back to the hotel around 4am just to wake up at 8am so we can stand in line to get wristbands to get onto the floor of the concert.

We got our wristbands and tailgated the rest of the day till the concert.  We drank and smoked weed from, it seemed like, every single state.  Everyone was so nice and just sharing the goodness with everyone.  The concert started at 7pm and went on till midnight.  311 played for 5 hours straight and oh my god, they were amazing.  Words can't even begin to describe how fantastic they were.  We went onto the floor for the third set and got pushed around, kicked in the head by a crowd surfer (oh wait, that was only me) but it was worth it.  We were right on the rail!!! 

We get back to the hotel and we are completely exhausted.  I mean standing and jumpin on your feet for 5 hours can wear you out.  So, we just collapsed, but we couldn't sleep.  You want to know why, cause around 4am some idiot set of the fire alarm in the hotel room.  Nobody had to evacuate, but it was the most loudest piercing sound ever to wake up too.  We finally went back to bed and left the next day. 

Needless to say, the weekend was, I can't find the word for it other than amazing, but that doesn't even begin to describe it.  The weather was perfect all weekend and I couldn't have asked for better company.  We will be attending 311 Day every single year now!!!

Oh, and I wanted a change in my life so I dyed my hair.  Oh boy is it dark!!!

Catch up time!!!

     School is going well.  I can't wait till Thanksgiving break, which starts next week.  I will be home on Thursday.  I just hope everything is going to go well.  I mean last Thanksgiving wasn't the greatest one so I just hope this one will be better.  Of course there is going to be drama, though.  My mom's sister wants me to go visit with them on Thanksgiving, but my mom doesn't talk to her anymore so how the heck am I going to tell my mom that i'm leaving her to go see the one sister she doens't talk too???  In fairness, my mom's sister is part of my family as well so I do have every right but if you know my mom that won't go over very well.  I still haven't told her that I'm going to California for Christmas and New Years, so that will just add fuel to the fire. 

      So I don't know what is up with me but it seems like I have thing for Wendy's managers.  First there was Brian and now there is this person who Elaine and I would like to call "Henry" that I have a crush on.  We have hung out twice and both times it has been awesome.  There is so much passion when we kiss that its unreal.  I don't know how far anything can go with "Henry" but I would like it to go farther.  If you are wondering about the other person I talked about before he is long gone.  I wouldn't have sex with him so we stopped talking.  I hate that sex is mostly the only thing on guys minds.  I mean how the heck are we suppose to like guys who just want one thing. 

      Chris, the guy I met in California is very excited that I'm going out there.  Him and I had an awesome time together when I was out there so I just hope we have more fun this time.  Hopefully my brother will be out of jail and I can see him for Christmas.  If not I'm just going to go visit him in jail.  I think it will be a good Christmas present for him and myself.  I haven't spent Christmas in California in like 5 years or so.  It's going to be so much fun.  Anyway, I have to start stuyding.  I hope everyone has an awesome weekend and week.  I will see you guys in a week!!!  I can't wait!!!

Hey~

     The White Sox are going to the World Series!!!!  Hell yeah!!!  This has been 46 years in the making!!!  Too bad I won't be in Chicago anytime they are playing because there will be a lot of partying going on. 

     Anyway, school is going fine.  Nothing to exciting.  My brother is back in jail for not going to go see his parol officer and not going to the job that got him out of jail 5 months early.  I don't understand how people can be so stupid.  I mean how difficult is it to go see your parol officer once a week and attend a job from Tuesday through Friday??  C'mon!!!   

     About that boy that I was talking about before, yeah he turned out to be a jerk.  I mean he says a lot of nice things to me but I think he says that cause he wants to get in my pants.  I won't let him, of course, but he keeps trying.  Over the weekend he didn't call me once or text me once, which isn't like him because he calls me at least 4 times a day and texts me non-stop, but ever since I spent the night at his place on Friday and didn't do anything with him he didn't call.  Then tonight I was watching the baseball game and he texts me and you know what is says?  It says, "R U avoiding me?"  You have got to be kidding me, right?  I mean what the hell.  He knows that he hasn't tried to contact me in anyway and then he tries to turn it around on me.  How guyish is that???  I think I'm done with boys.  I can't handle all this unnecessary drama.

Peoples~

     There really hasn't been anything go on here.  I'm not doing so well in pre-calc but c'mon it's pre-calc.  I just have to study more.  No big deal!!!  My mom got a new kitty.  Her name is Misty and boy is she a bitch.  She isn't like my other cat, Midnight.  Midnight would always come up to you no matter if he knew you or not.  Misty just likes to run away from everybody.  Plus, this kitty is so small but when I went home over the weekend she shared the bed with me and took up the whole bed.  I was jammed in this little spot on my bed.  I felt like how everyone else does who shares a bed with me.  I'm sorry Elaine!!! 

     My brother got out of jail but he just won't shape up.  My dad gave him a place to stay but where does my brother want to stay?  With the girl who got him in all the shit before he went to jail.  I don't understand him.  I don't understand any of the decisions he has made in the past.  I just wish he would get his head on straight.  The things that he is doing effects my mom and dad and then effects me because I can hear the hurt from my parents.  Oh well, I guess he will just have to screw up more and lose everyone for him to understand what he has.

      I met someone.  I don't want to get to excited about it yet because it might not be anything but he is a great guy.  He is in my political science class and I have noticed him before but I'm a shy person and I have never talked to him before.  Well, I take the shuttle to classes and so does he so tuesday morning I decided to talk to him for the first time.  I asked him out he think he did on the test we took last week and we just got to talking.  He waited for me after class and we just talked some more.  Then he came to visit me at my work that night.  Later that night when I got off work he invited me to go to Shananigans with him.  We had an awesome time.  My roommate was there along with his fraternity brother.  Yes, he is a fraternity pledge.  Anyway, I can't stop smiling and being all giddy like a school girl.  I miss this feeling so much.  He is going home for the weekend so I won't be able to see him but he tells me that he is going to miss me.  Awww, so cute!!! 

       That is mostly what has been going on with me lately.  I miss you guys so much.  I will be home for Thanksgiving and I hope to see everyone who doesn't go out of town.  Don't be strangers!!!

Hey you guys,

     I miss all of you guys so much.  School is going well.  I only have one class on Monday and Wednesday but on Tuesdays and Thursdays I start at 9:30 and go until 3:15.  It isn't that bad!!!  My interpersonal communications class is so interactive.  For the past two days of that class I have met everyone in that classroom and everyone knows that I love to listen to country music.  I'm just glad that I don't have to do any speeches in that class. 

     My roommates are very nice.  I live with three other girls, but there is an extra one living on our sofa.  She is really nice as well.  My one roommate, Sara, is going to get me in trouble.  She likes to party a lot and she doesn't have any class on Friday (same as me) so we are probably going to be partying evry Thursday night.  It's going to be great!!! 

      I take the shuttle to campus for my classes and I have met some interesting people on that thing.  I mean, how can you not meet people when you are packed in like sardines.  We are on top of each other every ride to campus.  It's crazy.  It feels like I'm on the subway in New York even though I have never experienced it.  I just see it on television and imagine that its like that.  Yeah, I'm strange!!!  Whateva!!! 

      I hope everyone is doing well.  Elaine, I love you and miss you so much.  Just hang in there and everything will work out.  Helen, thank you so much for the red pants.  I can't wait to wear them out.  Matt, keep being a great friend to Elaine and an awesome boyfriend to Helen.  I miss you guys so much and the other people I didn't mention!!!  Don't be strangers!!!
